Dustbowl & Eastern is New Mexico's premier rail service provider. Based in Albuquerque, our railroad has been serving the Land of Enchantment for over 50 years. We own and lease 1,200 miles of track in New Mexico and Arizona, and access BNSF's Albuquerque rail yard using a track-access agreement.Our main source of revenue is transporting freight of various types. We succeed by committing to employee welfare, proper equipment and track maintenance, and a strong customer base. We specialize in bulk transport of raw product from various mines to our partner railroad's yard. Our largest customer is the City of Roswell Pit in Roswell, NM, where raw minerals and processed compounds from local industries are collected.
